The Berliner Gram-O-Phone was invented by Emile Berliner in the late 19th century. Berliner had been experimenting with sound recording technology for many years and had already developed a flat disc that could be used to record sound. However, his early discs were made of rubber and were not durable enough for commercial use.

Berliner then turned his attention to developing a disc made of a more durable material. He eventually settled on a disc made of hard rubber, which he coated with a layer of shellac. This disc was then stamped with grooves that could be used to record sound.

All the artworks should be exported in JPG / 300 DPI / RGB / 16 bit color / No Bleed format. Please do not make your artwork in pdf, tiff, png or any other formats. Please do not export your artwork in low resolution. 300 DPI makes it look beautiful. Please do not encode your file in any other resolution. Please send us the cut versions as shown below. Width: 1200 px, Height 1200 px

Please export it in this format:

STEP 4 : Design Your Vinyl Record Label for B Side

You are going to need two things get done in order to publish your vinyl album using Artglider’s custom vinyl platform: Getting your artworks file ready and encoding your music files in the right format.

Here is the format to encode your music files

– Sample Size: 16 bit, PCM

You can use any audio converter to get audio files in these formats.

Your music will be pressed on a 12 inch vinyl record with 2 sides. Your track name should include your side indicator and track number as well.

Example: “A1 – My Track, A2 – My Track , A3 – My Track” or “B1 – My Track, B2 – My Track , B3 – My Track”

Each side can contain up to 20 Minutes of audio. (40 Minutes in total).
Each side can contain maximum 9 Tracks (18 Tracks in total).

Please make sure that your album or mixtape does not exceed these limits.

While many ask $2,600 – $3,000 to price print vinyls with 500 minimums (or 1600 – 2300 to make 250), we only have only ask $49 setup fee for creating each record and it costs only $42 per item after setup. Your per item cost may be lower in traditional pressing, but your overall cost is lower if you choose the custom vinyl records.
