You may check and reply your emails inside your Control Panel. But many people choose to forward their website emails (such as your info@mymusicsite.com) to another mail client such as Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook to reply the emails from there. It is an easier approach to reply all the emails from one place to go and check email box one by one.

In this article we will use Google’s Gmail as an example. Other email clients has similar settings. Go to your Control Panel, create your email account and forward the email to your Gmail.

You have tested the email arrives to your Gmail account but you want don’t want to reply it with a Gmail address, right? Good news is you can reply it with your webmail (info@mysite.com).

Here is how;

Go to your settings

2. Select the “Accounts and Import” tab.

3. Under Send mail as, click “Add another email address you own“.

4. In the Email address field, enter your name and official email address.

5. Click Next Step >> Enter your SMTP data.

STMP Server: mail.yourdomain.com (please, check your domain details to confirm)

SMTP Port: usually 465 (please, check your domain details in your control panel to see yours)
User name: Your email – something@something.com
Password: Use the webmail account’s password.

Then click Send Verification. Gmail will send a verification message to your email address to confirm that you own it. If we have already forwarded your official email to your Gmail address, the verification email will fall into your Gmail inbox.

6. After verifying your email, go back to Settings / Accounts and Import in your Gmail account
Look at the “Send mail as” area,

And see “When replying to a message” section.

Reply from the same address the message was sent to – If you choose this option, you can reply to your gmail mails from your gmail address and your webmails from your website email.

Always reply from default address – If you choose this option, you can reply all the emails from the mail address you choose, preferably your website adddress (info@yourwebsite.com)

Now you will be receiving all your info / webmails to Gmail and you will be replying them from Gmail as well.

How to write an email with your official email from Gmail?

Compose a new email. After clicking From, you’ll see a drop-down menu next to your address, where you can select the email address you’d like to send from. Now you can send emails with your official email as well as your gmail email.

Each domain that is successfully registered has the so-called WHOIS record. The WHOIS record is comprised of information about the domain name itself – when it was registered, when it expires, what the current name servers are and so on, and it also displays the registrant, administrative, technical and billing contact information that has been provided for the domain name. This WHOIS record is public and anyone on the Internet can check the WHOIS record of any domain name that is currently registered. Because the WHOIS service is available to the public, it exposes your contact details to everyone.

The WHOIS ID protection service helps conceal your personal data and protect it from malicious use such as spam e-mails and telemarketing. When you purchase the WHOIS ID protection service for a particular domain name, the WHOIS record of your domain name will display our company contact information instead of your personal information. Although your data in the public WHOIS record is replaced by ours, you still remain the rightful owner of your domain – the WHOIS protection service does not in any way affect the actual ownership of the domain.

You can order WHOIS or, as we call it, ID protection, for any domain name from the list of the supported TLDs that you have registered with us using the Domain Manager section (My Domains > Registered Domains tab) of your Web Hosting Control Panel. You have to point the domain to your hosting space to make it work properly. This is done by applying your Artglider’s name servers to your domain name.

Inside the domain control panel provided by your registrar (the company you registered the domain with) you should have the option to change the name servers, which may also be referred to as NS or DNS change.

To properly host a domain registered with another company with us, you must:

1. Add the domain to your Hosted Domains list (Site Management > Hosted Domains)
2. Set our name servers for your domain.
3. Wait for the name server change to propagate (usually within 12-24 hours)

If this first time at Artglider hosting services, just search the domain name you wish to use with our domain manager and click “Transfer”. It will forward you to the order form. When you are in this page click “Check Availability” and enter the EPP Code (domain transfer code). If you don’t know this, learn it from previous registar.

If you already have a domain manager or hosting account with Artglider, login to your account and go to My Domains / Registered Domains and click “Domain Transfer”

There are four general requirements for a successful transfer of a domain name:

1.The domain name must be at least 60 days old – should not be registered less than 60 days ago.
2. The domain name must be unlocked for transfer. If you are trying to transfer a domain name to our company and the domain name status is “locked” or “transfer prohibited”, you should unlock it in their control panel or contact your current registar and request to have the domain name unlocked for transfer.
3. The domain’s EPP transfer authorization key must be provided – it could be acquired from the domain name’s current registrar (authorization code). If your Whois details are hidden, unhide it until you transfer the domain
4. The transfer verification e-mail must be responded to – this e-mail is sent within 24 hours after the domain transfer is initiated to the Administrative Contact e-mail address specified in the WHOIS record of the domain name.
5. Once the domain transfer is confirmed by following the instructions in the transfer verification e-mail, the transfer procedure becomes fully automated and may take 3-5 business days to complete.

Some specific domain types (TLDs) have different requirements for transferring a domain name. Some TLDs cannot be transferred at all. However, the afore-mentioned requirements are valid for the majority of the TLDs (domain types). Here are a few exceptions:

.UK domain names (.co.uk / .me.uk / .org.uk)

Particularly the .UK domain names involve quite a specific domain name transfer procedure. None of the general requirements apply here. Instead, the the two steps below must be followed:

1. Contact the current company that you have the domain name with and have them change the IPS tag to: LIQUIDNET
2. Once you change the IPS tag you will receive a security code from our registrar within one or two hours. Please insert this code in the EPP field when ordering the transfer or provide us with that code if you have already paid for the transfer.

After that the transfer itself becomes a very seamless and smooth procedure.

Transferring .EU domain names

The only requirement for transferring a .EU domain name is to respond to the verification e-mail. What is specific for this TLD is that upon a successful transfer, the expiration date becomes one year as counted from the date of the successful transfer completion instead of adding one year to the expiration date the domain name had prior to the transfer.
